Delete your SunnySky account

In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are completed within 30 days. Either way, account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

In the app — instant

  1. Open SunnySky and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap DELETE ACCOUNT.
  3. Tap again to confirm.

Delete a report and its photos — keep your account

  1. Open SunnySky and go to the Feed tab.
  2. Find one of your reports and tap DELETE.
  3. Tap again to confirm.

The report disappears from SunnySky, and the same action requests deletion of its attached photos from storage. SunnySky does not currently offer a separate way to delete a photo while keeping its report. Your account and other SunnySky data remain active.

By email — within 30 days

Can't access the app? Email support@sunnyskyweather.com from the address you signed up with and we'll delete the account manually.

What gets deleted: your account and email address, profile, weather reports and photos, asks and answers, follows, notification tokens, and notification history. The in-app flow also removes device-local data such as preferences and cached forecasts. A pseudonymous daily route-request counter may remain for up to two days for abuse prevention; it contains no route or location. Shared weather caches and cached route responses are not joined to your account and expire within two days, although a cached route can reveal the requested area. See the privacy policy for details.
